Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 3 June 2026
Our kits go into the outdoors, where conditions change fast. Using them safely and responsibly is part of the deal.
Outdoor safety
- Check the forecast before heading into alpine, high-altitude or exposed areas.
- Avoid using equipment in high winds or severe weather.
- Tell someone your plans and carry the means to call for help.
Fire and stove safety
- Never light stoves, BBQs or open flames where they are prohibited — many national parks and reserves ban them, especially during fire seasons.
- Check and follow regional fire bans before lighting anything.
- Fuel and charcoal are not included with our kits; source them locally and follow the manufacturer's and local instructions.
- Never leave a lit stove or grill unattended, and let everything cool fully before packing.
Keep equipment away from children
Camp stoves, BBQ racks and hot cookware must be kept away from children at all times. Adult supervision is essential around any heat source.
Food safety and allergies
Our metal cutlery and plastic tumblers are SGS food-grade tested. If you are sensitive to a specific material, please test it before extended use. Handle, store and cook food following safe food-handling practices.
Leave No Trace
Pack it in, pack it out. Carry away all rubbish, leftover food and packaging, and leave each spot as you found it for the next group.
Lawful use
You are responsible for using our products lawfully and in line with the rules of the land you're on, including access, camping and fire regulations.
